Hello And Happy Holidays!

Hello Everyone,

Yes.....I'm still here and although we had a beautiful Christmas, I'm glad that it is over! My husband, neighbor and myself worked like mad people putting the final touches on the basement because we wanted it ready before Christmas. My crafting area is finally finished and because we were super tired, all of the recreational stuff we brought for the basement is still encased in boxes. I had envisioned our guest playing pool or some of the other games that we brought, but that didn't happen, we simply ran out of time and energy.

In the meantime, I'm nursing my sore and rough hands, the strong adhesive from the floor tiles left my hands feeling so rough and dry! yucky!!! I hate the way my hands feel and can't wait for the skin the repair itself. Here a a few pictures of what the basement and my craft area look like now.

I can't wait to visit you blogs to see what you have been up to and to see your beautiful cards!
Have a beautiful day and thank you all so much for understand:)

Great craft area!! I love the re-use of the microwave stand. Why hadn't I thought of that before I threw mine out. *drats*

I wanted to thank you for the lovely Christmas card I received yesterday, too. You decorated Heidi beautifully. I will have to show her off on my blog soon! Hope you are working on your challenge card for KL SNS. I can't wait to see what you ladies are coming up with from my sketch. Hugs, Kelly

Poor girl. Just think of the beautiful room you will have to work in when all the adhesive is dry and your sore and rough hands. Oh I can see the beautiful cards coming out of that room now. Have a nice relaxing New Year, rest up so you can get back to making those gorgeous cards.
