LOTV Challenge #30...Paper Piecing!

Hello Everyone!

Today is Thursday and time for another Lili of the Valley Thursday Challenge. This weeks challenge is paper piecing! This technique is very easy and lots of fun! In a way, it reminds me of when I played with my paper dolls when I was a kid. Do I hear anyone asking "what in the world are paper dolls!" lol Just joking:)

I wanted to do more with this card, but yesterday went by in a blur and I wasn't able to embellish it the way I had planned. I tell you, lately the days seem like minutes and then it is over!

To see the LOTV beautiful DT cards, click here , you will definitely be inspired by some beautiful cards! Remember......you have two weeks to finish your card and you can use any stamp that you like. To submit your card for the challenge, simply link your card to LOTV blog. We can't wait to see your beautiful creations:)

Card details..........
stamp Magnolia's Butterfly Collection, c/s Neenah Solar White, DP all SU, inks Copic Markers, ribbon and half pearls

LOTV Thursday Challenge!

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm feeling a lot better today and my eyes are improving and 75% better. At least I can see things without the awful blurriness and most of the weeping is gone..thank goodness!

Today's LOTV Thursday Challenge is all about the colors blue, pink and green. One thing I like about color challenges is that you use colors that you normally would not use. So if you ever feel uncertain about a color challenge, give it a try and play around with it a bit. I think that you will end up loving the finished results.

Due to the fact that I had colored my Magnolia image a few weeks ago, I had to search for some design paper to compliment my and and the LOTV color challenge. ( I usually make my card first and then color my image last....so much easier this way) The main colors of my card are pink and green and the color blue is highlighted in the DP. I also used a blue flower as an embellishment.

As you may already know, all LOTV Thursday Challenges are held every two weeks and this gives you plenty of time to create a card for our challenges. For more inspiration, stop by LOTV Challenge Blog and check out the DT cards. You are free to use any stamp that you desire and the challenge ends May 2oth.

Card Details.....

stamp Magnolia Butterfly Collection, Sentiment Cosmo Cricket rub on, c/s PTI and Bazzill, DP unknown, inks Copic Markers, ribbon, flowers and pearls

Thank all of you so much for stopping by and leaving your warm and kind comments. Have a great day!
