Hello everyone!
Do any of you have any special holiday plans? In the past, we usually took our vacation during the holiday, but this year we are sticking close to home. In a way, I think that I prefer a nice and quiet holiday weekend with only the immediate family to entertain. Of course, my husband will get his trusty grill out and grill some chicken,ribs and hot dogs.(My hubby loves to cook on the grill and I don't mind one bit!)
In the meantime, the kids and I will clean the house up and I'll cook a few side dishes and make a cake for dessert. As a holiday tradition, we will drive to the park and view the fire works..that's it...end of the day! 
Between planning a menu and my grocery list, I did manage to finish my card for Roses on Paper currant card challenge. This weeks challenge is to make a Gate Card and you have to sew on your card!
After making my Gate Card and adhering my panels of design paper with adhesive, I sewed both panels onto the card. Miss Anya is colored in with Copic Markers. I ran my finished image through my Wizard using the Nestabilities Curved Rectangles Die. I adhered my image at an angel and applied a small magnet underneath the mat of my image and on the front panel of the card. My card is embellished with gems, flowers and half pearls. I wasn't sure of what sentiment to use and will add a sentiment later.
