LCWC #19

Today is Tuesday and time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge. This weeks challenge was chosen by our very own DT member Teri! Teri decided to use this cute sketch from CPS (Card Positioning Systems) This is a awesome sketch and very versatile...thank you for the inspiration Teri!

I decided on a clean and simple Christmas card for this challenge. I used textured card stock for my mat and paper pierced around the edges. Instead of stamping and coloring in images, I decided to use rub-ons instead. The rub-ons are from SU's Word Flurries packet. The ribbon I used is white and has specks of silver glitter in it and IRL it is very pretty. I added silver cord, a snow flake thicker and a silver filigree brad (SU) for embellishment.

For more inspiration, check out the other Little C's DT members!

This is a awesome sketch and we would love to see your ideas as well! For more information about Little C's Weekly Challenges, click here.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!
Today is Tuesday and time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge! Yeah!!!! This weeks challenge was to make a Christmas card that features a picture of our family member(s) or pet. I have a ton of pictures around here but none are small enough for a card so I decided to use

this older picture of my husband and my son.

I seriously need to make an appointment with the photographer and update our family album! The last time we took a family photo, Ethan's front teeth were missing.........geez!!!

I kept my Christmas card simple this week. I used my Cuttlebug and embossed the base card stock with my snowflake folder. The stamp I used is from SU's Season of Joy. After I stamped my image, I used SU's clear embossing powder and added small red pearls to embellish. The sparkly ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This really is a fun challenge and for more inspiration, check out the other DT members!

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Smiley from millan.net Happy Veterans Day and a special prayer to the men and women protecting our country

* I'm having problems lining up my pictures this morning and I apologize for the messiness of everything!

Good Morning Everyone!
Today is Tuesday and time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge....Challenge #17. Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday that we started these challenges, I find it hard to believe that 17 weeks have flown by!

This weeks challenge is a color challenge!
If you would like to see more color combination's... click ----> colorcombos.com. Be sure to check out this site for some awesome ideas!

I decided to use this fun Whipper Snapper* stamp for the color challenge. The design paper is by Pebblesinc. The card stocks are from Papertrey Ink and the Cut Cardstock Company. I used my paper pierce template and pierced holes around my card. I wasn't crazy about the original sentiment(Snow Cone) and covered it up with a sentiment stamp from A Muse. To embellish my card, I used ribbon SU's Real Red, Nestabilities rectangle dies, Copic Markers, dew drops liquid glass and extra fine glitter.

We would love to have you play along with us this week! Click here for more information and a chance at a terrific prize!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day:)

Yep....today is Tuesday and time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge. I really apologize for the lateness of my card. After returning from vacation and getting "rested up" from lack of rest, it took me forever to make this card! Nothing seemed to work for me and the minutes were flying by. Finally....I created a card that I can live with and due to a "brain freeze" I'll conjure up a sentiment for this card later.

Details..........

stamp is a Hanna stamp, design paper is from Basic Grey, card stock SU and PTI, inks Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers, dress and two bags were paper pierced, (the DP is Basic Gray) To embellish, I used flowers, silver gray dew drops, extra fine glitter and pearls.

For this weeks challenge we were to use the colors from the color combo shown below.

If you would like to see more color combination's... click ----> colorcombos.com. I was amazed at the variety of colors combination's....wow...who knew!!!! lol Be sure to check out this site , you won't be disappointed.

LCWC #13

Good Tuesday morning!
This weeks Little C's Weekly Challenge had a twist to it! We were instructed to make a card using our Hanna Stamps and include the colors from this color palette! After tossing ideas around in my head and tearing up two different cards, I decided to settle for something simple! An image of my SU's Die cut Blooms popped into my head and I immediately knew what I wanted for my card. The color for my base card is Chocolate Chip and my image is matted with Bashful Blue (both from SU) The flowers are SU's Die Cut Blooms and are mounted with dimensional' s. My image is colored in with Copic Markers and the sentiment is from Stamping Bella. I also paper pierced around the edges of my card and finished it off with ribbon at the top of my card. For more inspiration, check out the following Little C's Design Team members!
Also.... don't forget that Jen is celebrating Oktoberfest this month with her Oktober Fest Sale! Everything is 35% percent off this month!Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

LCWC #10

Well as you know today is Tuesday and its time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge #10!
I know that I'm a little late posting today.... but better late than never right?! *forgive me Jen:)
This weeks challenge was a tough one for me (4X9 1/4" card) and no matter what I did with my card I wasn't satisfied with it and minutes turned into hours! Finally I said to myself "this is it Risa...no more changes...get on the move girlie!"
As I stated earlier, this weeks LCWC is to make a 4X9 1/2 card. I haven't been on my computer all day and I can't wait to see the other Little C's design team creations! For more information, click here to see what Jen has posted:)

For this card I made three panels and the design paper is by Reminisce. I have seen this idea around in blog land and I decided to give it a try. After coloring my Autumn Tilda with my Copic Markers, I used my Copic Airbrush system to air brush the background area. Then I used my Spritzer and added splashes of fall colors to the background. I also used Prima flowers, brads, and ribbon to embellish my card.

Details.......
stamp and sentiment Magnolia's Autumn Collection of Tilda, c/s SU Chocolate Chip , Only Orange and PTI Stampers Select, dp is by Reminisce, Nestabilities square dies, Copic Markers, Copic Air Brush System and Spritzer from SU, Prima Flowers, ribbon , brads and extra fine glitter

I know that I have been a bad blogger lately! I've been super busy around the house and I working on a couple of projects that I'm trying to finish. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day!!
Thank you all for stopping by and for all of your inspiring comments!! God Bless and have a great day:)

Hello and good morning!
Today is Tuesday and time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge. This weeks sketch design was created by the talented Jen Young! (owner of Little C's Stamps and Things) This is a wonderful sketch design and I definitely plan to use it again. Thanks for the inspiration Jen!!!

For this card I used another stamp from my new Pink Cat Studio Christmas set. Kitty is definitely a hit with me and I just love the sentiment!!! Don't forget that everyone is invited to participate in Little C's Weekly Challenges. Each week Jen draws a winner from the participants and the winner could be you! For more inspiration, check out the other Little C's DT members lovely cards. For more information about LCWC's click here!

Details.......
stamp and sentiment are both from Pink Cat Studio, c/s Papertrey Ink and Cut Cardstock Company, and the DP is from my stash. The inks used were Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers. I used SU's ticket punch on the corners of my mats and embellished each corner with a red pearl. I also used Nestabilities Dies, Liquid Glass, snowflake glitter, ribbon and dimensionals.
