ROP & JM....Halloween Theme & Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,
Today I have combined two challenges for one card. This weeks Roses On Paper challenge is to make a card or project based on Halloween. The Just Magnolia challenge is to make a card based on the lovely sketch designed by Martine.


I don't own any Halloween themed Magnolia's, or Belle 'N Whistles or any of the stamps that are required for ROP challenges and had to "make- do" with what I have. My order of Magnolia's arrived a few days ago and I couldn't resist using Magnolia's 60's Tilda. I think she is super cute and see myself using this image a lot in the future. Although I'm not 100% satisfied with this card, I think that one will get the general idea that this is a Halloween card.....

Roses On Paper GDT Call for Belles 'N Whistles

Good Morning Everyone,

I am submitting this card for Roses On Paper second GDT call. According to the instructions, I have to post a card that I have made after the first Roses On Paper GDT Call. I had a tough time making a decision on which card to submit but settled on a ROP/Just Magnolia card that I had made in August. Have a great day folks! I have to run to the mall and buy the kids a winter coat. This morning the temps were 33 degrees and the weatherman even mentioned snow in the forecast! I am so not ready for snow! *lol*

Just Magnolia and Roses On Paper Challenges!

Good Morning Everyone,

I can't believe that the weekend is gone already, where did it go?! I've been on the "go" every since Friday and yesterday we had company (relatives) who surprised me with an early birthday get together. Normally, I'm the type of girl that likes to celebrate my birthday with a quiet dinner with the family and breakfast with my girlfriend. I guess this year no one is having all the quiet celebration nonsense. *lol* My birthday is tomorrow and I will turn 50! None of my friends or family members are letting me celebrate my birthday on a quiet note! Bless their hearts! It is a wonder that I was able to finish this card for Just Magnolia and Roses On Paper! Seriously....it took me every bit of three days to squeak in a little time to finish my card.



This weeks Roses On Paper Challenge is to make a card featuring the colors lavender, light blue and cream. Just Magnolia's Challenge is to emboss! Both challenges are featured on this card.

Although I was pretty tired last night, I did manage to stay up for HBO's True Blood Finale. I'm so crazy about that show and of course it ended with a cliffhanger! What am I going to do for nine whole months?! Gosh!!

Just Magnolia and Roses On Paper Challenge
This weeks Just Magnolia Challenge is to make a card based on the sketch drawn by the talented Martine. The Roses On Paper Challenge is to make a card using the colors ... warm red, brown and orange. Speaking of Autumn, it is one of my favorite seasons. I love the vibrant colors of the leaves and crisp cool air...so fresh and clean!



Huh- Hum......Getting back to my card, both the JM and ROP challenge are merged onto this card. Although the ROP Challenge didn't include the color yellow, I only used it to balance out the orange color.
