Just Magnolia and Roses On Paper Challenges!

Good Morning Everyone,

I can't believe that the weekend is gone already, where did it go?! I've been on the "go" every since Friday and yesterday we had company (relatives) who surprised me with an early birthday get together. Normally, I'm the type of girl that likes to celebrate my birthday with a quiet dinner with the family and breakfast with my girlfriend. I guess this year no one is having all the quiet celebration nonsense. *lol* My birthday is tomorrow and I will turn 50! None of my friends or family members are letting me celebrate my birthday on a quiet note! Bless their hearts! It is a wonder that I was able to finish this card for Just Magnolia and Roses On Paper! Seriously....it took me every bit of three days to squeak in a little time to finish my card.

This weeks Roses On Paper Challenge is to make a card featuring the colors lavender, light blue and cream. Just Magnolia's Challenge is to emboss! Both challenges are featured on this card.

card details..........
image Magnolia, sentiment scrapbook kit, inks Copic Markers, card stocks Bazzill and the Cut Cardstock Company, design paper older scrapbook kit paper, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Pendant die which was embossed as well. I also used flowers and half pearls for embellishments.

Although I was pretty tired last night, I did manage to stay up for HBO's True Blood Finale. I'm so crazy about that show and of course it ended with a cliffhanger! What am I going to do for nine whole months?! Gosh!!

In the meantime, I have to catch up on my blogging! I haven't been on my computer for three whole days!!! Have a great day and thank you all so much for stopping by!

LOTV Thursday Challenge # 36 Color Challenge!

Good Morning Everyone and happy Thursday to you!

Today's LOTV Thursday Challenge is all about the colors BROWN, ORANGE and GREEN, the colors of fall. Smiley from millan.net Although the weather is very warm in my area and the leave still green, by the first of October, the seasons could change in a heartbeat! I look forward to the cool weather though, in fact I like it! If I had my way, there would only be three seasons, spring, summer and fall! I'm not a fan of winter at all... too cold, too much snow and the limited daytime hours....sooooooooooo depressing. Smiley from millan.net

The name of my image is Little Girl Swing and I think she is adorable! To see more beautiful cards, click on this link and check out the LOTV DT cards! You have two weeks to complete your card and you don't have to use a LOTV image. But if you have LOTV stamps, feel free to use them. When you are finished with your card, simply leave a link to your blog here! We thank you for your participation and can't wait to see your creations! Smiley from millan.net

card details.....
stamp LOTV, sentiment rub on by Reminisce, c/s SU and Papertrey Ink, DP jillibean-soup,inks Copic Markers, ribbon, buttons and flowers.

Thank you for stopping by and have a super great day!

The Greetings Farm-Reeta

Hello Everyone and Happy Labor Day Wishes to you all!

Are any of you doing anything special today? We have decided to stay at home and just enjoy the day. No big dinners or big family gathering today, we are just going to keep it simple and possibly go see a movie.

In case you haven't already noticed, I have a new passion for The Greetings Farm stamps. I'm not familiar with the proper names at the moment but this adorable image goes by the name of Reeta. I think she is a sprout but I'm not 100% certain.

Reeta and her kitten are both colored in with Copic Markers. I used my lg. rectangle Nesties die to mat my image. I'm not certain of the designer paper brand but I think it is so cute! The card stocks used are Bazzill and Papertrey Ink (Stampers Select). The sentiment is from The Angel Company and to embellish my card, I used ribbon, half pearls and felt flowers.

Now I'm going to sit back and enjoy the rest of the day. The kids start school tomorrow and they are pretty excited about it. Little do they know....I am too! *lol*

Take care and have a super great day!

hugs
