Roses On Paper GDT Call for Belles 'N Whistles

Good Morning Everyone,

I am submitting this card for Roses On Paper second GDT call. According to the instructions, I have to post a card that I have made after the first Roses On Paper GDT Call. I had a tough time making a decision on which card to submit but settled on a ROP/Just Magnolia card that I had made in August. (I think this card was made for the ROP punch challenge) If anyone is interested in participating in Roses on Paper GDT Call, click on this link here for more information.

I also want to wish my Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your holiday!

Have a great day folks! I have to run to the mall and buy the kids a winter coat. This morning the temps were 33 degrees and the weatherman even mentioned snow in the forecast! I am so not ready for snow! Smiley from millan.net *lol*

WOJ Challenge #50... Anniversary Sketch!

Hello Again!

I normally don't post twice in one day, but I wanted to post my challenge card for WOJ Anniversary Challenge. I would have made a card sooner, but with a lot of my supplies still in boxes, it makes it a bit tough getting around to the various challenges.

The Anniversary sketch was drawn up by the talented Rach. Thanks for the sketch and inspiration Rach!

I have used Melinda Helping Angel on various WOJ Challenges because she happens to be one of my favorite WOJ Stamps. I just love the serene look of this image!

My image is colored in with Copic Markers and matted onto Nesties oval shaped dies. I airbrushed a light mist of Pale Lemon (Y000) to create a glowing background light. The card stocks are by Bazzill and Papertrey Ink. The design paper is DCWV (Nanna's Kitchen). I embellished my card with ribbon, half pearls, flowers, dabs of Liquid Pearls, Liquid Glass and extra fine glitter on the wings.

Well this is it for me until Monday. Enjoy what is left of your evening and have a great weekend!

LOTV Thursday Challenge...Childs Christmas Card!

Hello Everyone,

Sorry that I have been MIA the past few days. My husband and my neighbor are in the process of remodeling the remodeling our basement and once again everything is turned up side down. The basement is where my craft room is and a lot of my supplies are covered up. However, I did remove the main supplies and have set up a temporary station at the dining room table. Although it is not the same, it will do until they are finished. I can't wait to return to my new area which will include some built in storage. I have seriously outgrown those plastic type drawers from Target!

On to the good stuff! Today's LOTV Thursday Challenge is to make a Christmas card for a child. I made my card with the color theme red and white with lots of sparkle. The image is from LOTV ( Christmas Bunnies- Robin ) and I also downloaded the design paper which reads "Merry Christmas* Happy Christmas" from LOTV. My image is colored in with Copic Markers and embellished with Ice Stickles. I also added tiny drops of Liquid Pearls to the gift and stocking and add Liquid Glass to the candy cane. The other embellishments are ribbon and red half pearls.

As with all LOTV Challenges, you have two weeks to complete your card. You don't have to use LOTV Stamps but if you have them, please use them. When you are finished with your card, link your creation to LOTV Thursday blog. We are also looking for a GDT member... so...get creative as I can't wait to view your creations!

Have a great day and thank you all so much for stopping by!
