High Hopes Challenge #12

Hello Everyone!
No.... this card is not a tribute to the Purple Hat Ladies *lol* This is my take on High Hopes Challenge #12. This weeks challenge was to feature torn paper on your card. When I was really off into making scrapbook pages, paper tearing was a favorite way to embellish my pages. The stamp is a High Hopes Stamp and her name is Hannah's Heart.

This stamp can be purchased at either High Hopes Rubber Stamps or Little C's Stamps N' Things.

The heart design paper is by Flair Designs and the c/s is from PTI and SU. The inks are Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers. To give my torn paper a "little something", I ran my finger under the faucet and gently rolled the edges of my corners a bit. After that I ran my mat through my sewing machine and simply sewed in a random fashion. The inks used were Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers. My image is matted onto a Nesties circle die and I embellished the hearts with liquid glass. I also used extra fine glitter on the butterfly and finished my card with ribbon, silver cord, a charm and tiny pearls for the corners.

At this time I'm not certain of what sentiment to use so...I left that area blank for now.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

* Don't forget to stop by Little C's and say hello to Jen!

More Keeping it Simple Cards......

Good Morning everyone!
I've titled this week as Keeping it Simple week (sort of) and today I have a few more cards to add to my simple card collection. Using the Happy Heart Day stamp set from SU, I made a small collection of cards. Can you tell how much I love this stamp set?! lol

I used my Cuttlebug heart embossing folder for the design and mounted it onto red cardstock from the Cut Cardstock Company. My image is lightly colored in with my Copic Markers and mounted with Nestabilities circle templates. To embellish my card I used dazzling diamonds (SU), mini red brads, ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a button (SU's Button bouquet) an place a pearl in the center of it. I also used my spritzer tool and spritzed a bit of color around my image.

The last two cards feature the Happy Heart Day stamp also. I embellished the pink card using my cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, pearls and ribbon. The last card I simply used some scrap DP, Copic Markers, dew drops and liquid glass to embellish the hearts.
Have a super great day and tomorrow I have a couple of awards to share and a candy announcement to post. Take care and thank you so much for stopping by.

Mojo Monday #68 Sketch

While browsing through some blogs for inspiration, I ran across Juliee Tilman's new Mojo Monday blog and I was really inspired to participate in her new challenge. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find that participating in challenges helps to stimulate my "mojo". Well...this weeks sketch really appealed to me and this is my take on the challenge. Thank you for the inspiration Julee!!

Both the stamp and sentiment are from SU and the name of the stamp set is Bundled in Love. The card stock and designer paper are both from Papertrey Ink. (c/s Stampers Select and the DP is Bitt Baby Blessings). The inks used for this card are Adirondack Pitch Black, Encore Gold and Copic Markers. To embellish my card, I used pearls, dazzling diamonds, ribbon, spritzer tool and Nestabilities oval dies. I also want to mention that I got the idea of giving my sentiment dimension from the super talented Jen Muraoka (Kiyomi Krafts )

Thank you for stopping by and have a terrific day!
