A friend of mine sent me this picture the other day and I wanted to share it with you all. This picture represents the size of our wallets or piggy banks after a visit to the gas station! I don't know about some people but all I could say was "ain't that the truth"!!

I don't have a card to share today but tomorrow I will have a few goodies to share! So ......stay tuned and I will be back tomorrow :)

I Love The Flower Girl......

A couple of weeks ago Cheryl (mochamomma)sent me some stamped images and this image "spoke to me"! Because of all of the tiny flowers, it took me a while to color this image in. I actually had to remove my glasses in order to color in some of the tiny areas! But in the end, this treasure was worth all the trouble. Thank you for the beautiful stamped images Cheryl!

Hummmmmmmmmmm!!!

I would love to see who comes up with these computer generated thoughts and ideas. Although some are quite zany, some are very interesting.

Your Brain's Pattern

Your mind is an incubator for good ideas, it just takes a while for them to develop.

But when you think of something, watch out!

Your thoughts tend to be huge, and they come on quickly - like an explosion.

You tend to be quiet around others, unless you're inspired by your next big idea.

Happy Mother's Day!

The past few days have been hectic around my house, and I don't foresee anything calming down around here until tomorrow night. A cousin of mine had to leave town for the weekend and I agreed to babysit her two children. I really don't mind but... keeping up with an active 4 yr. old , a 4 month old baby plus my own leaves me with very little "me time"! However, between kiddie naps and my older kids helping out today, I was able to complete a project I had started on Thursday evening.

My completed project is a birthday tag and pizza style party favor boxes. I got the idea for making these pizza boxes when I visited Teri's blog Big Ideas From A Little Girl.
Since most of us have experience making a box, you will find Teri's tutorial easy to follow. The pizza boxes are small yet big enough to hold a few party favors or small gift.
After I completed a few boxes, I decorated them by punching out circles with my 1" circle punch. (I punched the circles from the leftover cardstock.) These boxes are for a boys party, so I kept the decorations simple and simply tied ribbon around the finished box.
For the tag, I used my stamps from the Little Paper Shop. I think these stamps are perfect for a boys birthday card! To make the tag,I used my large rectangle Nestabilities dies. The truck is colored in with Copic Markers. The sentiments are Little Paper Shop's To give the impression that the truck is dumping dirt,I grabbed a scrap piece of black c/s and punched out a circle. I trimmed around the circle with sm. scallop scissors, cut the trimmed piece in half and adhered the dirt to the tag.
Other embellishments are ribbon ,Stickles (blk.)and mini-brads (from my stash).

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a beautiful day tomorrow. I'll be back Monday.
