Whiff Of Joy

* Be sure to scroll done and check out my blog candy give-away! I tried to have
it where my post would remain on top but it didn't work! LOL I will draw the winner Thursday at 12 NooN:)

Good Morning and I hope everyone had a fantastic and safe weekend!

Today's card is another Whiff of Joy Stamp and from what I have seen, this is a popular stamp! Jen, the owner of Little C's Stamps and Things is now carrying Whiff of Joy Stamps ! For more information...click here.

The name of this stamp is Willow Enjoying A Cup Of Hot Chocolate. In my mind, she's enjoying a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's day. My step-daughter has a pair of pants similar to these and I drew my inspiration from one of her outfits.

The Designer Series Paper is SU's Georgia Peach and this paper if becoming a favorite of mine. I love the softness of it!!!! The card stocks are Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette and Papertrey Ink's Stamper Select. The image is Whiff of Joy's (Willow enjoying a cup of hot chocolate) and the sentiment come from Stamping Bella. The inks are Adirondack's Pitch Black and Copic Markers. To embellish, I applied faux stiching, Maya Road Felt Flowers, Dew Drops, Martha Stewart Lace Punch, extra fine glitter, Nestabilites dies and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Guardian Angel on Duty!

I received my package of Whiff of Joy Stamps from Little C's the other day and I couldn't wait to "inkem-up"! These stamps are "rubberlicious" and I'm having a blast! While roaming around the net, I discovered Whiff of Joy's challenge blog! This is their 2nd. weekly challenge and the theme is to make a card that features any type of sewing on it. Well I've been practicing on my sewing machine and I can sew a fairly decent straight line.....at times! lol Enough stale jokes.....this is my card for Whiff of Joys #2 Stitch Challenge . I used a basic layout for this card and for my sentiment, I CASED an idea from Jenn of Kiyomi Krafts. I really like the banner type look for sentiments and thank you for the inspiration Jenn!

The stamp is from Whiff of Joy's Guardian Angel Collection (Melinda) and the sentiment is MFT, The design paper is from my stash and the card stocks are PTI, SU and Cut Card Stock Company, The inks used are Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers, The embellishments are Prima's. Dew Drops, ribbon, silver cord, a charm and extra fine glitter.

I hope you all are having a fantastic Sunday and thank you for stopping by! * Also, don't forget in enter my blog candy drawing. You have until Thursday Oct. 9th to enter!

Hugs

Terrific Trio

Good Morning everyone and I hope all is well in your corner of the world! It seems like yesterday was only Tuesday....where did the week go??!!! At any rate I'm still here and I have a ton of things on my agenda today. The top item on my list is to visit my local scrapbook store this morning. In honor of World Card Making Day, they are having some super sales and I'm going to participate in a scheduled "make and take" session! I'm a bit excited about participating in the make and take session and learning something new! Also...as I mentioned last week I have some blog candy up for grabs. Make sure you tune in tomorrow morning (Oct. 4th)to see what I have up for grabs......its AWESOME and be sure to pass the word!!!!!

On to the cards, I made a trio of thank you cards that I want to share. I made all three cards assembly line style but each card has its own personality. The card stock I chose for these cards is Kiwi Kiss and the DSP is also Kiwi Kiss. The stamp used is from SU's Fun & Fast Notes. I colored each birdie using my Copic Markers and matted them with Nestabilities sm. rectangle dies. I embellished each card with flowers, pearls, ribbon and photo corners.

Well that's about it for today....time to go go go! LOL
Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by:)
