I give up!
I had the perfect idea in my head for this card, however I couldn't get the point across on paper! I added elements...took them away. Started over again even...still didn't like it. At one point I even had three cupcakes! The night was getting longer and I was tired of fumbling around with this card! I said out loud "I give up!" This is it...I'm done! Even after the frustration this card put me through, I couldn't throw it away. So, I decided to hang on to it and title it Just for Fun.
The c/s: SU's Cameo Coral, Papertrey Ink and Bazzill
The ink: Pallette's Clariet
H20 Pencils from Michaels
Stamps: The Cats Pajamas (star burst) and Studio G (cupcake)
ribbon: MayArts
Stickles
Well tomorrow my husband and I are taking a much needed "R&R"! We are going up to
Saint Ignace. I love going "up there" but I hate going over the Mackinaw Bridge. Once we get over the bridge I am fine. If you should ever come to Michigan in the Fall, go "up north" as we say it. The scenery is breath taking!

Well...we all have gone thru that. It looks so awesome in our heads and when we get to the paper...plop. But, I think this is a very cute card and worth of sending! Thanks for sharing :O)
Hang in there! We've all had those moments. What about taking the cupcake and punching it out and layering it on another punchout? Like a circle on a circle or scalloped circle or a square on a scalloped square and then popping it up on dimensionals? These smaller images are hard for me to work with.
I think this card is fabulous.
I don't know what you were picturing in your head, but I like this adorable card a lot. It's sweet, simple, yet has the perfect amount of "special touches" to highlight it.
I remember going over the Mackinaw bridge many times as a kid and teen on road trips with my Dad. *shiver* I get the heebie Jeebies on ANY bridge, but that one is especially so.
