Two for Tuesday....!!

Hello Again! *smile*

I made this card for Whiff Of Joys weekly challenges! Heather Huggins designed this

awesome sketch for the challenge.

If you like lots of layers, this is the sketch for you! I was intimidated by the layers at first, but once I decided on what papers to use it was a cinch! I thought about my design papers from Imaginisce (Fairest Of Them All). I think this design paper is really cute and I love the soft colors and feel of it.

I decided to use the " Willow with cookies" image for this challenge. I love this profile of Willow, she reminds me so much of my niece when she was a kid. This one is for you Shannon:)

Card details...............
stamp WOJ Willow with cookies, sentiment WOJ, c/s Papertry Ink's Sweet Blush, inks Copic Markers, DP Imaginisce Fairest of them all collection, flowers from Imaginisce, Martha Stewart scallop punch, paper pierce tool, extra fine glitter and pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day:)

*A BIG Thanks to Donalda for sending me a bunch of stamped Whiff of Joy images! Thank you so much Donalda:)

Yep....today is Tuesday and time for another Little C's Weekly Challenge. I really apologize for the lateness of my card. After returning from vacation and getting "rested up" from lack of rest, it took me forever to make this card! Nothing seemed to work for me and the minutes were flying by. Finally....I created a card that I can live with and due to a "brain freeze" I'll conjure up a sentiment for this card later.

Details..........

stamp is a Hanna stamp, design paper is from Basic Grey, card stock SU and PTI, inks Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers, dress and two bags were paper pierced, (the DP is Basic Gray) To embellish, I used flowers, silver gray dew drops, extra fine glitter and pearls.

For this weeks challenge we were to use the colors from the color combo shown below.

If you would like to see more color combination's... click ----> colorcombos.com. I was amazed at the variety of colors combination's....wow...who knew!!!! lol Be sure to check out this site , you won't be disappointed.

Autum Greeting!

Good Morning!

Todays post is going to be a quickie! I have a lot of last minute things to do before my husband and I go out of town for the weekend. In route to our destination, we have to cross the Mackinaw Bridge. I hate big bridges with a passion! When I was a kid, I had frequent nightmares of falling off a bridge. Right before I would hit the ground I would wake up scared out of my mind. Although I don't have those nightmares any more, I still have the fear of bridges. Once we cross the bridge, I'll be OK and ready to enjoy our weekend getaway. Do any of you have any fear of bridges?

This Magnolia Stamp is part of the new Fall Collection. I haven't had that much experience with Tilda but she is growing on me. The card stocks used are chocolate chip, tangerine (SU) and Stampers Select from PTI. The inks are Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers, The DSP is SU's Tangerine Designer Series Paper, The sentiment was printed from my computer. To embellish my card, I sewed around the edges, used my corner punch and flowers.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Rainy Day Monday........

Good morning everyone and I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today's forecast calls for rain and in my world it means "stamp til your hands cramp"! lol!
I made this card for WOJ's weekly challenge and this weeks theme pertains to Autumn Colors. I decided to use the WOJ Stamp,Willow with Umbrella for my card. This is a newer stamp from WOJ and I think it is a cutie!

The card stocks are SU's kiwi kiss, really rust, barely banana and PTI (stampers select). The DSP is SU's Haiku. This DSP may not "grab" you at first but when it does, look out...its awesome! The inks used were Adirondack Ink and Copic Markers. To embellish my card, I used liquid glass to give my hand drawn stones a wet look and I also applied liquid glass to the umbrella. I also used ribbon, prima flower, pearls, paper pierce tool and nestabilities lg. round die. The sentiment is a peel off from my stash. To make my image pop, I cut and colored in a second image and glued the cut out image directly onto of my original image. I also lightly washed the background area using my watercolor brush.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Charlotte Angel.....

Good Morning everyone and TGIF!Smiley from millan.net

I don't know about anyone else but I have been having problems with Blogger all morning! I finally gave up on trying to post this morning and had to abandon my project for a while. Now that I have returned, Blogger appears to be working again! (at least I think it is)Smiley from millan.net

I made this card for Whiff Of Joy's weekly challenges. This weeks sketch challenge was designed by Heather Huggins. I really like this sketch but I had a difficult time finding X-mas themed designer papers that complimented each other. I finally settled on using Papertrey Inks Holiday Vintage Prints for this card. Sometimes picking out design paper is like picking out an outfit! lol

The stamp I used for this card is from Whiff of Joy's Charlotte & Charlie (Christmas 08) Collection, and she is called Angel Charlotte ! I double stamped my image, colored in the main image then I trimmed the image and used dimensionals to mount it. To give the illusion that both images are colored in, I simply color around the lines of the main image. Then I mount my trimmed and fully colored in image on top of it. *tip* When cutting out images, turn the paper as you cut.....not the scissors. At first it is a bit tricky but after you do this a while it comes naturally to you.

The sentiment is a rub-on from SU's Season of Cheer. The card stock is from Papertrey Ink's Stampers Select and Cut Cardstock Compay. The inks I used were Adirondack's Pitch Black and Copic Markers. I used my paper pierce tool for the decorative pin holes and embellished my card with ribbon and pearls. I also used my Nestabilites rectangle dies and paper slot punch from SU!

Thank you for the inspiration Heather!

I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll be back SundaySmiley from millan.net

Speaking of food...I'm feeling a rumble in my tummy. Time to get something to eat and hold the pickles please!

Details............

LCWC #13

Good Tuesday morning!
This weeks Little C's Weekly Challenge had a twist to it! We were instructed to make a card using our Hanna Stamps and include the colors from this color palette! After tossing ideas around in my head and tearing up two different cards, I decided to settle for something simple! An image of my SU's Die cut Blooms popped into my head and I immediately knew what I wanted for my card. The color for my base card is Chocolate Chip and my image is matted with Bashful Blue (both from SU) The flowers are SU's Die Cut Blooms and are mounted with dimensional' s. My image is colored in with Copic Markers and the sentiment is from Stamping Bella. I also paper pierced around the edges of my card and finished it off with ribbon at the top of my card. For more inspiration, check out the following Little C's Design Team members!
Also.... don't forget that Jen is celebrating Oktoberfest this month with her Oktober Fest Sale! Everything is 35% percent off this month!Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Whiff Of Joy

Good Monday Morning everyone and I hope you had a beautiful weekend! Around here the temperatures were ideal (almost 80 degrees!) and we accomplished a lot getting the yard and house ready for the winter. I'm also thinking about having the Christmas lights put up while the weather is in our favor. I know it seems it bit early to hang up the lights, but it's better to hang them now instead of trying to do so when its 15 degrees outside. brrrrrr!

While sneaking in some playtime this weekend,I finally finished my Whiff of Joy card. This stamp is called Melinda helping Angel. If you like to color, these stamps are really a joy to work with! If you are interested in buying a couple, check out Little C's Stamps and Things!

Details.........
stamp Whiff of Joy (Melinda helping Angel), sentiment SU's Circle of Friendship, c/s barely banana and Papertrey Ink, DP is from my stash, SU's slit punch, paper piercing tool, pearls and extra fine glitter

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
