Lazy Summer Daze

Hello Everyone,
Here in Michigan we are definitely having a real summer this year. Almost every day since June it has been hot and humid! Staying in tune with the weather, I made a Criss Cross card that features Tilda with her bicycle and a bouquet of flowers.

I remember when I was a kid, my girlfriends and I would ride our bikes everywhere in the surrounding neighborhood area. We didn't have cell phones at that time and as kids had to stay in the neighborhood. My kids have bicycles but would rather stay
in the house and play with the Wii or PS3! I almost have to force them outside to get some fresh air and exercise. In my day, it was torture to have to stay indoors during the summer, what is wrong with kids today?! *lol*

So today's card is all about summer and summer related fun! Have a great day and enjoy the summer sunshine!

Card details......
stamp Magnolia (Tilda with Bike), c/s Bazzill and PTI, DP ..Karen Foster (Birds & Blooms), inks Copic Markers Embellishment....machine stitching,Swiss Dots embossing folder, Prima Roses , Stickles, half pearls and ribbon. Instructions for the Criss Cross card were found at SPS. I used the base instructions for my card but increased the size for my needs.

My card qualifies for the following blog challenges......

I also want to mention that if anyone received a weird email from me, please disregard and delete it. It looks as if someone hijacked my email address and sent out suspicious emails to people on my contact list. I have since reported the abuse and changed my email password. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that all is OK now. Thanks so much!
hugs

Beautiful criss-cross card, Risa! Your stitching is impeccable...what brand is your machine? I've been thinking of getting a smaller one just for crafting because I've put away my regular one and hate to haul it out. The blues are very soft and pretty and your coloring always impresses me. P.S. I did get one of those emails but knew it was a prank. I also got one from another friend...apparently "they" got if off of Facebook and stole her email password! Hugs, Cami

This is DIVINE! haha I laugh at your 'when I was a kid' story because I can sooooooooooooo relate. Riding bikes to the beach 4-5 times a day, never inside what with only 4 channels on TV....yet , my kids too, would rather be inside! Your colored Tilda perfectly! So fresh with the colors. Good luck with all the challenges and thanks for joining the fairies this week at FFF. (PS- I have some candy at my blog with Tilda images. Come check it out)
