This is my second post today..... Wild Flower Patch #22...Grunge is below this post.
Hello Everyone,
Wow...I can't believe how quickly the days are speeding by but they are and The Pixie Cottage is back with another challenge! As with all of our challenges, you have a choice of either making a card according to the sketch or you can go by the theme. This weeks sketch was designed by the super talented Dawny P. and this weeks theme is to make an aperture window.
After I saw the DT cards, I realized that I failed the challenge miserably! I was supposed to make a window and place my image on the inside of my card, instead I made a shaker type window! I don't know what I was thinking about but here it is.....goof and all.
I made a simple easel card and used design papers that were bright, crisp and summery. My image, Whispering Maisy & Matt (designed by Di Caruba) are both colored in with Copic Markers and the background was lightly airbrushed. the rest of the details are listed below.
We hope that you all enjoy this weeks challenge and look forward to viewing your creations! For more Pixie Cottage DT inspiration, please click here.

Your bold colors are simply wonderful. A great easel card, and I don't think you failed the challenge at all. Art is all about how one percieves something. I like what you did, it looks like a window to me Risa!
