A while ago, InStyle Stamps had a few openings for design team members and here are the cards that I submitted. A week later.....I received some fantastic news...I made InStyles Stamps DT!!!! After being turned down a few times for other DT positions, I felt like giving up and just not bothering with applying for DT positions. But, after some serious thinking, I told myself "don't feel that way...a company can either say yes or no"! You never know what a company has in mind or what style they are looking for when they are looking for a person to be a member of their team. If you inspire to be on a DT, try not to get frustrated when they tell you "NO" and never give up trying!
I didn't notice that I forgot to color in his eyes until I after I submitted the card...talk about a nervous reaction! Now both eyes have color:)
When I received these images in the mail, I went to work on them right away and I was nervous in case I messed something up. It wasn't like I could re-stamp the image so I had to be extra careful. I also had to make the most of coloring with paper that I am not familiar with. However, in the end I was pleased with the results. Suzie Q. is from the retro collection and Jet is from the Anime collection.
Card Details............... c/s PTI, SU and Cut Card Stock, DP Making Memories and SU, sentiment SU and Stamping Bella, ribbon, brads and bronze clip a gift.

Yeah for Risa! I was telling hubby about you last night-were your ears burning? We discussed Delphi as we drove by the place where is used to be in Flint. Then we drove by old Buick plant. Then I told him get a job, he is driving me nuts!
I will check out this stamp company when lent is over-no sense in looking unless I can maybe buy. What was I thinking? I should have given up food.

I agree. . .there's various factors as to why a person is chosen for a DT. .it could be talent, personality, connections, unique style, loyalty, or whatever reason. LOL!

congrats and thanks for the encouraging words! I was sad and pretty discouraged I didn't even make it to the 2nd round since I love their stamps and I really liked the card I made.
