Snowflake Crush....

Hello everyone!
The month of December is speeding by so darn fast! There are 16 days until Christmas and I still have a mountain of work to do around here. How many of you are done with everything? Those that are done, how on earth did you make it all come together? Inquiring minds *me* really want to know. *smile*

This snowman card is identical to the previous snowman card I posted last week. The only difference is the scallop mat is red. This is my first year making my own Christmas Cards and all of them are going to be "quickies"! For some reason, I have a serious crush on this Cuttlebug Snowflake folder. Next year I will probably hate it (lol) but for now, this folder is the perfect accessory for my quickie 4X4 cards!

Take care everyone and if you have any tips, please share them with me.

This card is adorable, love that cuttlebug folder, still doing my Christmas shopping, sorry not hints here, but did get my cards done early, and now I see so many cute stamps, oh well there is always next year.

Done? Bwaaahaaaahaaaaa!!!! I have the design for my Christmas Card done and part of it stamped and punched but I have to cut the cardstock for the card base and the bottom layer plus cut ribbon and stamp and emboss the sentiment. It's not that bad but it just means I gotta gear up and get ready to go assembly style!

Cute card!

I for one am done. I started in January, by September I had four 12 x 12 albums scrapbooked, November 1st I took a trip with my girlfriends to the States, TJMax, Khols, oh yea baby, love those stores!! bought a few select gifts there. My hubby? I ordered a beautiful painting, by our local artist, of our little dog Ollie. It will make him cry! On Tuesday my kids and I are going out for lunch and then taking some pictures outside which we will print off, put in frames and give to their grandparents and great grand mother. Thanks to M&M's I will have an inexpensive lovely spread to serve up at our place on Boxing Day, hubby will look after the Christmas day dinner and Christmas eve will be at my mom's this year instead of here. My gifts are wrapped and I have my cards ready to be delivered to my friends at church on Sunday. I have to start planning early in the year. A huge thing for me, is to not get hung up in the money value." Oh I hope I spent enough on this person and maybe I should buy something else for that one, etc etc" that used to be my motto and I was stressed every year and I was getting to hate Christmas. Well, when I hit my 40s I decided to simplify, I Cut my Christmas list way back, stopped baking sweets for Christmas, decided the handmade gifts are better to give and even better to receive and realized, If I haven't enough cash for a particular gift, then it cost too much. Credit card stays home!

Great card. I'm so far behind, and here I am blog hopping . . . go figure. I am NOT one of the ones that has it all together. Far from it! Oh well!

Luv your card Malieta, it's so cute! I'm still not done with making xmas cards, but at least my hand made gifts are finally done. I still have 2 more rooms to clean & 3 windows to clean, then I have to wrap gifts & put away all the boxes that I took out for the decorations, clean up the mess we made while decorating...the dining room is filled with empty boxes that need to be put back in the closet. There's never an end to this. But the funny thing is I'm not as stressed this year as other years & I don't know why!

Gorgeous card Malieta!! I love that folder too.
I have no answers to help you with xmas prep....I am terribly behind too....haven't even started any baking yet..and am getting a house full of company this weekend. But I guess whatever I get done I get done...and suppose at some point I should just decide to enjoy the holidays and accept the fact that everything does not have to be perfect....maybe I did have an answer...Take Care...Ila :)
