For Maria

I am participating in Maria Bells blog candy challenges this week and one of the tasks was to show your craft space. At first I was shy but I know what it looks like when it's clean and purdy. *smile* Maybe one day I will post some "before and after" pictures! Maria I am enjoying these tasks that you have posted daily and I look forward to the next one:)

Well this is my "get away from it all area". My craft area is located in my basement and sometimes I am very thankful that it is. Tornado's touch down in this area often. I think a F7 tornado touched down today!

Wow.... just showing my craft area in the shape that it is now is nerve wrecking. I made this huge mess within two days! I become so absorbed into what I am doing and all caution was "thrown to the winds". Whenever I am in this state of mind, I can see my stuff's better when it's a mess.*lol* However, when I am done with a project I go through this ritual of cleaning and sorting my scraps etc. Whenever I start on a new project my table is clean and everything is organized. I have no idea what happens in between.*wink*

What a great challenge Maria put out, love seeing all these messy crafty areas, I feel right at home. Remember out of Chaos comes Creation.

I can totally identify with you on this! My craft area is actually in the study and there is a place for everything in there but not much space to spread out so I often venture out to the dining table and boy do I make a big mess sometimes! I find it very hard to create and keep a tidy space at the same time! Then I have to do the big clean up afterwards.

Wow Malieta. . .looks like you have a lot of fun stuff to work with. I actually find comfort in my mess sometimes. I've been really good at keeping my desk a little cleaner than it used to be but it's my floor that has a problem.

Isn't it sort of liberating to show your chaotic space. I mean people feel so normal when they see that everyone is the same! By the way. . .what is your calming item?

Thanks for participating in my blog challenge! Tomorrow is the last challenge!

Fab photo's, my desk looks like this quite often, normally with a cat sat in the middle!
