Autum Greeting!

Good Morning!

Todays post is going to be a quickie! I have a lot of last minute things to do before my husband and I go out of town for the weekend. In route to our destination, we have to cross the Mackinaw Bridge. I hate big bridges with a passion! When I was a kid, I had frequent nightmares of falling off a bridge. Right before I would hit the ground I would wake up scared out of my mind. Although I don't have those nightmares any more, I still have the fear of bridges. Once we cross the bridge, I'll be OK and ready to enjoy our weekend getaway. Do any of you have any fear of bridges?

This Magnolia Stamp is part of the new Fall Collection. I haven't had that much experience with Tilda but she is growing on me. The card stocks used are chocolate chip, tangerine (SU) and Stampers Select from PTI. The inks are Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers, The DSP is SU's Tangerine Designer Series Paper, The sentiment was printed from my computer. To embellish my card, I sewed around the edges, used my corner punch and flowers.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Risa

I love the 3-d leaves and things in her hands!

I'm not afraid of bridges, but I am afraid of heights. That didn't develop until I was an adult because I was raised on airplanes!

This card is amazing, Risa! Tilda is so cute! She looks like a real girl who walked a long way, and now having some rest on the log! I always enjoy looking at your coloring! Love your sewing so much! I also like the layout you created and the corners with a brad in the middle!
Have a nice and safe trip!
I have a fair of the airplanes. Always see bad dreams about this...Even I travel long distance flight, when I visit my family.
I've never been on this kind of a bridge!

Oh Risa this is just beautiful dear. Oh once you get started with Tilda you will be so addicted lol Just gorgeous dear. And yes I am another one scared of big bridges. Don't know why but I do not like them at all so I am glad I don't have any of those big ones around where I live.

You poor thing. It is gonna be okay. Bridges usually don't fall :-)

Beautiful card. The layout looks very technical with all the perfect layers.

Risa I'm so happy that you are going out of town with hubby. Awesome! No fear of bridges but I do have a fear of tunnels. I used to live on the coast of Virginia and there were like 6 bridges or tunnels to get you from the peninsula to the southside. I was scared to death in them and actually carried scissors in my car in case it flooded and I had to evacuate me and my son quickly. Have fun! Hugs=)

sweet card Risa! I don't have a fear of bridges but I have a huge fear of bears. I have had so many nightmares of being chased by bears. I spotted one in our back orchard three years ago and since then the only time I would go down near the back was when I was with hubby or on my four wheeler (quick get a way) I have planned escape routes for every area of my back yard should a bear come upon me and I have to escape! Yup, huge fear

Have fun on your trip. . .that bridge looks scary but you'll be fine!! I have a fear of large waves. . .imagine that considering I lived in Hawaii all my life and we're surrounded by beaches with large waves! LOL!!

I don't have a fear of bridges, but I do have a fear of any patio above the 2nd floor. I always had dreams of falling too, and would wake up before I hit the ground too.... or if I was falling in my dream, I would just continuously fall... anyways... now I have dreams of my kids falling from high heights - UGH!!! I hate those dreams!! Before they hit bottom, I don't wake up - but in my dream, I force myself to turn away. Scary!!!!

Love your card... I know, them Magnolias, I just wish they'd have a lil' smirk or something. Well, this turned out great though. I'm adding it to the gallery.

Hugs,
Jen

Gorgeous card Risa! Hope you had fun!

I'm like you, only with under water tunnels...I hate them & I'm always looking to see where to run if they start leaking & yes I've always had nightmares about these tunnels because as a child we had to go in two of them on our way to visit my sister in Virgina!
