I'm on the road to recovery

Hello everyone...I'm on the road to recovery and I feel so relieved! Early last week I started having cold symptoms that blossomed into the flu. I haven't been this sick in years, the flu virus I caught is a nasty bug! Can you imagine not having the strength to do anything ... all I could do was sleep. The "over the counter stuff" that I took at the beginning of my cold, wasn't helping me at all and I had to pay a visit to my doctor. The shot and medications I am taking have helped me considerably. My voice is crackly and my body feels like I've been in the boxing ring but I feel so much better...aches and all! While browsing the blogs and catching up on my e-mail, I discovered that I have been awarded 2 awards. The Excellant Award from Flossie and the Bitchin Award from here! Thank you ladies for the awards....both brought a smile to my face.

I also want to answer a question about the dancer in the video posted early last week. From what I have read, the dancer is a very small man. I just thought that his toothy smile was hilarious...my husband and I crack up every time we see that commercial on TV.
Thank you all for stopping by and visiting and I sincerely hope that you do not catch this terrible flu that is going around. It takes up to 2 weeks to fully recuperate, so take care and be careful.

A little birdie (Maria) told us you were not feeling well ... happy to hear that you are getting your strength back. Your RAK that you sent to Maria was wonderful and it's obvious that it meant a lot to her. Spreading kindness and friendship sure make this world a better place!

Just go into your art room and start creating ... you'll feel better in no time. Or, if not better, at least maybe a little happier!
