The Pixie Cottage #23...Sketch or Make Mine Patriotic!

Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday!

This weeks Pixie Cottage Challenge is another great one. You have the choice to either make a card according to the sketch or you can make a card according to this weeks theme...make mine patriotic! My patriotic colors are red, white and blue but if you live outside of the USA, feel free to show us your colors!

This weeks awesome sketch was designed by our very own talented designer Pam. Thanks for the awesome sketch and inspiration Pam!

I stamped my flower image (Greetings) on four separate pieces of card stock and paper toiled the flower. I colored and cut out the sections that I wanted for dimension and applied the petal sections with pop dots of varying thickness.

To give my flower a little sheen, I applied Diamond Glaze to the entire flower and once the Diamond Glaze was dry, I added Liquid Pearls and Stickles to the center areas.

For more Pixie Cottage DT inspiration and the challenge rules, please click here.

card details....... stamp, The Pixie Cottage (Greetings), c/s Papertrey Inks Stamper Select and Night Sky Shimmer, dp also PTI. Tools used...Cuttlebug's Divine Swirl embossing folder, Nesties lg. rectangle dies and SU corner notch punch. Embellishments....Diamond Glaze, Liquid Pearls, half pearls and ribbon.

Have a beautiful day and thanks so much for stopping by!
