Pixie Cottage #17 Sketch or Make Your Own Charm Challenge

Good Morning Everyone,
Once again I have to apologize for my disappearing act but lately I have been dealing with some major "Life Events". My MIL had a heart attack early last week and we have been back and forth to the hospital on a daily basis. My husband visits his mom everyday, and when he stopped by to see her, he found her on the floor and called an ambulance right away. She is 91 yrs. old but she is a fighter and although she is going to need a lot of family support, hopefully she will be released from the hospital soon. On top of that, my best friends husband died of a heart attack in his sleep last week and that was a total shocker! He was so young! As I sit here typing, I'm still in shock but I know that God has his reasons and I try not to question him.

In the event you aren't familiar with The Pixie Cottage Challenges, we are trying something new this round. You have a choice, you can either make a card according to the sketch or make a card that supports the theme. This weeks theme is to make your own charm. If you aren't crazy about the theme, you can choose to design your card on this sketch by our guest designer Rowena from Crafty Pagan Designs.

My image is designed by the super talented ArTish and the name of the stamp is Waking Up To Spring. My image is colored in with Copic Markers and I airbrushed the background skies. To created the clouds, I held a scalloped shaped oval die cut in one hand and while airbrushing, I would randomly move the die cut around. I did attempt to make a charm but I think it is rather pitiful looking. I had an idea to add beads to some jump rings but the effect wasn't nothin' like I imagined in my head! *lol*

I also want to thank everyone for stopping by and for your kind comments. Today I am taking a breather from everything and I'm going to spend some time visiting blogs etc. Take care and I hope that your day is a beautiful one!
