The Pixie Cottage Challenge #10

Hello Everyone,

I can't believe how fast the time rolls by, today is Wednesday and time for another Pixie Cottage Challenge. This weeks challenge is to make a card base on the following sketch designed by our very own, Anne! Thanks for the sketch and inspiration Anne! Before I go any further, I would also like to thank all of the participants of our Love Challenge. We had over 100 entries and all of your cards were fabulous! Thanks for playing with us, without your participation, these bi-weekly challenges would not be possible.

I decided to give my Copic Markers a rest and simply paper pieced my image (Beary Much) together. I stamped my image several times on different pieces of card stock and once I decided which card stocks to use, I started to assemble the puzzle. I sponged all of the pieces with coordinating inks and proceeded to attach the limbs to my images base. I worked from the bottom up and continued this process until I was finished. I think the paper piecing gave my image so much more depth.

Remember, you have almost two weeks to complete your cards and all finished cards are be to linked directly to The Pixie Cottage's Blog. You aren't required to use The Pixie Cottage Stamps, but if you have them.....show us what you can do with them*ΓΌ* For more DT inspiration and the challenge rules, click here.

Oh....we have a new Pixie Cottage DT member and she also happens to be the artist who designed my cards image. Welcome aboard to The Pixie Cottage Tish (aka ArTish)!

I would never have thought to color the bear blue. That is what makes this one of the cutest cards. I love the ribbon you added in his hands and the paper pieced nose and ears!
