Magnolia vs. Stampavie and Lili of the Valley Challenges

Good Monday Morning Everyone!
I hope that you all had a beautiful and productive weekend. I most certainly did and I even found the time to create a few cards!

The first card is for Magnolia vs. Stampavie #2 Challenge Clean and Simple
This weeks challenge is to use only three colors....my colors are pink, white and green. Tilda (Ice/ Ballet Princess) is from the Magnolia Pink Collection and the sentiment is from Stamping Bella. I mounted my trimmed Tilda on an oval Nestabilities die and positioned her so that her legs would overlap the oval die. The base card stocks are from SU (pink pirouette) and Papertrey Ink. The design paper is from Imaginisce and is double sided. I used my Martha Stewart lace punch and and embellished with pearls and flowers by Imaginisce.

Details...............
stamp Magnolia's Ice/Ballet Princess (Pink Collection), sentiment Stamping Bella, inks Copic Markers and Adirondack (Pitch Black), c/s SU's Pink Pirouette and PTI, DSP Imaginisce, Nestabilities oval dies, ribbon Really Reasonable Ribbon, Martha Stewart Punch, pearls and extra fine glitter

My second card is for Lili Of The Valley's Challenge #7 card for a teenager!

I know that all teenage girls don't like the color pink but I think most do! ( I'm not a "teen" anymore but I think I can still relate to them and pink is still among my favorite colors:)

I purchased this adorable stamp from Lili of the Valley's on-line store a few weeks ago. The name of this stamp is Miki and Kimi. I think this image is perfect for two teens that are the "bestest of friends" which translates into a card for a teen!

The base card stock is from SU (Pink Piourette) and the DSP is from SU also. I colored in my image using my Copic Markers and matted it with my rectangle Nestabilities dies. I tilted my image a bit and mounted it using dimensionals from SU. The flowers are from Prima's Heavenly Collection ( very pretty and I love the sparkle!) I also used dew drops, Friskars threading water punch, ribbon and extra fine glitter to embellish.

Thank you all for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Oh my goodness-that Lili stamp is so cute. I clicked your links and it was to FTD Floral so did a google search and I so want to order some LIli stamps. I have never ordered from the UK-do they charge an extra fee to convert US (worthless) dollars or did your credit card charge extra to convert? Why can't we all use the same money to shop online-online happy money. I have only purchased one thing since hub retired. We still don't know when a check will come because "someone" screwed up the paperwork. Where are the rolaids?

So I am over fall and winter-can we have spring now? BTW-there is a new stamp/scrap store in Saginaw. I will find the link when I get home. I thought I had added it to my blog list. Its west of the zoo and north a bit. I found a coupon at Birch Run Big Boy.

These are just incredible! I love your oval layout for the Magnolia. What a perfect way to use them. And the details are so very sweet. I love the bling and your stitching is always so perfect. The little pearls along the scallop edge: perfection. You are just too awesome! Miki & Kimi are beautiful! I love that stamp immensely and how you've coloured it and blinged it. Sublime! :O)

I dug out the coupon I have. Its called A Place to Crop and it seems to be new! A brave soul in this enviornment I think. Address is 230 N Center Road (Block's Plaza) and the hours are M-Thu 10-7 Fri 10-8 Sat 10-6 and Sun 12-5
#989-790-8690 about three minutes from A Cherry on Top and 6 miles from Scrapbook Peddler. Wonder if the area can support all three so close?
I have no idea how long its open but it used to maybe have online shopping. http://www.shoptilyoucrop.com/servlet/StoreFront

I would call before I venture out that way but since I am "sharing" my car until dippy gets one (we ordered one as I am using my "I have to run away" savings to buy it for him-so he gets what I think he should have, so no leather seats and no souped up engine) I haven't driven in 11 days. I miss my WWJ news reports.

He is happy as a clam retired. I feel like I lost any freedom with him here. I can't just go when I want without him tagging along. I no longer can watch my sports or business tv either.I give him to the new year. Then he can (has to) find something. Door greeter at Wal-mart is what my kids said. Um no. We have to find a way to make up the diff in income as he can't get SS for a while yet. Taking that 40% cut in salary sucks-plus he lost car,phone,gas-all stuff we have to get him now-he was so spoiled. But what will happen if the company goes under too-our mortgage is thru GMAC. Our car insurance is thru GM. Crap-we sold our souls to the devil! All hail GM.

BTW-he would not have been offered a buy out had he taken the Korean job from last year. I told him to go as I never saw him anyways. It would have doubled his income too. He stayed and now he sits. yuck. double yuck.

I read you every time you post but just have been lax about posting comments the last few months. I cleaned out my reader last night. 270 blogs-gone. My reader loads much better now. I still have almost 400 each day to read tho. Mostly news, cooking, sports and stamping. And some very funny cat ones.
Have a greet week and I am here-even if no one knows it. I be very very quiet like a mouse. Eating garlic and triscuits with peanut butter.
