Ghouls Just Want To Have Fun!

Good Thursday Morning and I hope your morning is just as lovely as it is here in Michigan!
Today I want to share with you an altered project that I made for Stamp Somethings Embellish Somethings Challenge.
While blurfing the web for inspiration, I discovered this Halloween project on Lynda Benson's Blog Stamp Act. The moment I viewed Lynda's project, I knew that I had to try it!!! I ordered my acetate box and tubes from Impress Rubber Stamps. When my order arrived at my doorsteps, I immediately went to work on my project. Although I did have a few problems with measurements for my decorative cover pieces, I finially came to a conclusion on dimensions that were suitable for me.
The bottom cover is 6" X 3" and I scored it at 1" and 2" on my Scor-Pal and punched it using my Martha Stewart Halloween border punch. I used glue dots to adhere the fence to the acetate box. The measurements for the top cover are slightly different. The measurements are 6" X 5" and using my Scor-Pal, I scored the cover at the 2" and 3" marks. I then punched each side with my scallop border punch from SU. The ribbon that I tied around the cover keeps it secure.
The face of the acetate box is decorated with SU's Chills and Thrills Rub- Ons and decorated with small rhinestones.
The tubes are from Impress Rubber Stamps and were filled with candy corn and placed inside the box.

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Risa
