RAK's

I joined Jen's Birthday RAK and her monthly Birthday Club and I have been a busy bee. This RAK is going out to Debbie tomorrow. I just love this stamp....why did I wait so long to purchase it? I hope Debbie likes this card as much as I do!

cardstock: Papertrey Ink and Bazzill
inks: Prima Pencils and Gamasol, SU's Real Red
ribbon: Michaels
brads: are from a kit (Club Scrap)
tools used are my Cuttle Bug and I used the Happy Birthday Folder. I used my oval scallop punch to punch out a window and put my stamped image behind it. I also used dimensionals in between the window and my stamped image.

Happy Mail today......

I got some "happy mail" today and it made me smile from "ear to ear". Rita sent me this beautiful RAK and I just love it! The fun doesn't stop there, I also received several stamped images from Gina K's. Make a Wish stamp set. I can't wait to color in the images and use the sentiments. Thank you so much Rita!

A Rainy and Gray Day....

Today was rainy, windy and gray...a perfect day for reading and stamping. I decided to play with my new Penny Black Stamp and I love this little guy. I stamped my image on watercolor paper and used Palette (black) for the ink. After image was thoroughly dry, I used my Prisma Watercolor Pencils to color in the image. The cardstock I used was Stampin Up's Ruby Red, Garden Green and Summer Sun. The sentiment is by Studio G and the ink is SU's (black). The tools I used were SU's 3/8 inch circle punch and my paper piercing tool.

Something New

I bought a set of stamps from Papertrey Ink.(Text Boxed) I absolutely love the stamps, but I was at a lost with what to do with them. If Timm Gunn were here he would say "make it work!" Nothing I stamped looked right! So I went to Papertrey Inks Gallery,The Ink Pad. I was in awe, and inspired by everyone of the cards there. I cased a card by Debbie Olson, her card is simple yet elegant...I had to try it! Here is my version....

cardstock: Papertrey ink (this paper is awesome!)
stamps: Papertrey inks Text Boxed
ink: SU's Pretty in Pink and Certain Celery and Palette (Claret)
ribbon: SU's Certain Celery
paper piercing tool used also

2- 5 -7 -10 Halloween Boxes

I made a few of these over the weekend for a friend of mine. She saw my Christmas Bag and wanted a few for Halloween. I made three samples for her so that she can choose what she wants or doesn't want. I even put candy in them! I had went to my LSS and brought some of the prettiest papers, however the designs on the cute papers broke on the perforation lines. I tried at SU's and they held up perfectly! The creases were perfect! I plan on making some of these bags for the teachers also.

papers: SU
ribbons: from my stash
Stickles and double sided tape used also. **I also want to add that the tutorial for the 2-5-7-10 Box with Flap is here
