I turned a goof- up into a good thing with this card. While I was measuring my 12X12 piece of cardstock, I somehow overlooked my measuring point on my Scor Pal! I didn't notice the error until I cut my card stock on my paper trimmer!!! I was really mad at myself at first and then I calmed down and said to myself
"you are going to USE IT as it is" and that is what I did! The card face is shorter(3 1/2 X 5 1/2) and the rear is the standard card size ....to this day I don't know how I messed up the measurements!! Anyhow, after I jazzed the card up, I was pleased with the results! To give the card some balance, I cut a piece of DP (Glitz Paper Co.) and used my scallop scissors for a decorative border. Then I attached the DP to the inside of the card and layered a smaller piece of c/s to the DP for a finished inside look. The scalloped border serves as an decorative edge.

The card front's DP is by the Glitz Company and I used White c/s to mat it. Both stamps and sentiment are from the
Odd Bird Planet (formally Just Johanna's). I stamped the flamingo and floral flourish on an imaging sheet using my thing-a-ma-jig. Then I lined up the imaging sheet on the oval shaped c/s and stamped both of the images. I colored in the images with my Copic Markers and embellished with extra fine glitter. Although it sounds like it was a lot of work, once I "got into it" everything came together rather quickly and I was pleased with the outcome!
