Wild Flower Patch Wednesday #21 ....Color Challenge!



Well Hello Again!

This weeks Wild Flower Patch is all about the color combo of Lime Green, Lavender and Black. When I first read the details I was a little apprehensive but once I worked out the details, I have to say that I am pleased with the results. I really like this color combo!!!


Once I found the right design paper for my card, everything else came together wonderfully! My design paper ( by Die Cuts With A View) is a print with mixtures of lime green and lavender which helped me put my summer theme card together. Because the color black is a prominent color, I used it as a an accent with the hair,buttons and card stock base for the sentiment. My image, Beach Ivy is colored in with Copic Markers and I embellished parts of her outfit with Stickles.

    Hahaha, I have to laugh that you were apprehensive about the colors! When I picked them I thought, oooh these will be fun and then when I started working and picking an image I was rethinking that quite a bit. YOU did such a great job with the colors though, I love how you did her hair and the rest of the color combo is perfect! Gorgeous work this week!
