WOJ #46



Hello Everyone!

Are any of you going out of town for the holiday weekend? Well, I'm going out of town Saturday and I'm looking forward to a little R&R. The kids start school the day after Labor Day and I am soooooooo glad!!


In the meantime, I'm trying to stay ahead with my challenge cards before I leave. This card is for Whiff Of Joy's challenge #46 , a sketch designed by WOJ's very own Bev! I made it a point to finish my card earlier because I already know that I won't have time over the weekend.



Willow With Lantern is colored in with Copic Markers and I used my cool gray Copic Markers (C1&C-3) to help give the illusion of depth to her gown. I embellished my card with Prima products and inserted filigree

brads in the snowflake and flower centers. For the time being, I didn't add a sentiment. Sometimes I am totally challenged when it comes to a sentiment!! Other embellishments are ribbon, half pearls and MS flower lace punch. The card stocks are Bazzill and Papertrey Ink. Design Paper is by Basic Grey and DCWV.

    OH my this is so gorgeous. I might be going to Pontiac on Saturday night to see Joan Jett at Arts Beats and Eats. We go every year. One year it was Weird Al! And it's a huge fundraiser for local charities. I hope the weather holds nicely thru the next weekend as my daughter is getting married the 12th-then I am off the hook for wearing shoes I hate!
