Hello and Happy Friday!
This weeks High Hope Challenge is to make a card for a boy or "dude"! This means no cute flowers etc.
To play it safe, I made my card for a young boy, I think it is a bit easier to win kids over with googly eyes. *lol* After I was finished with my card, I asked my 11 yr. old son for his opinion. All he said was "it's alright"! Well...this is his favorite word right now and since his facial expression didn't turn to one of horror 
...I guess I'm safe. *lol*
Card Details
stamp and sentiment- High Hope Rubber Stamps (Greetings from the gang), c/s PTI, SU and Cut Card Stock Co., DP SU's now retired Summer Picnic, inks Adirondack Pitch Black and Copic Markers. To embellish my card I used googly eyes (Impress rubber stamps), jumbo red brads, SU's round tab punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder, extra fine glitter, paper piercing and ribbon.

ReplyDeleteI got my mini photographic studio from Ebay but I know that Amazon sell them as well. I am planning on playing it with it over the weekend to try and figure out how to get the best results!! Will keep you posted as to how I get on.

Your Dude card is fantastic! I just love the image and the coloring is superific!! The word "alright" for an 11 year old means "fantastic"! I'm sure that's what you son meant :) xoxo

ReplyDeleteWhat a great take on this challenge Risa. The colors are perfect for boys/dudes. I only have girls, so girlie cards are no problem. But boys...oh my...now, that's a challenge (lol).
