Friday Sketchers #2






I hope that everyone had a great weekend! For the first time in almost 2 wks. today was a "normal" day. I didn't have to rush here or there and was able to sit down as long as I pleased. *grin*
I made this card for Friday Sketchers and my card is based on sketch #2. I discovered this challenges from Kimmie of Kimmie's Korner. I wanted to make a card for the first challenge last week but I didn't have time. Here is my take on the challenge. This cute stamp(Cecily Cinnamonsticks) arrived last Friday from Stamping Bella and I couldn't wait to "ink her up"! To keep the fairy theme going, I kind of splurged on the embellishments. But in my mind, I see fairies surrounded by swirls, glitter dust and pretty sparkles. To keep my vision "sane" I opted for the pearls instead. lol I'm not sure of what my sentiment will be yet, so I left that area blank for now.

stamp: Stampin Bella ,card stocks: Papertrey Ink and SU, DP: from my stash, Spellbinders Nestabilities circle Templates, inks: Adirondack (Pitch Black) and Copic Markers, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, sm. scallop scissors, white pearls, flowers,ribbon and extra fine glitter.

    What a cute image. Love the bright colors you used. Beautiful card! I would have given her some design on her apron too, but that is just me.

    This is So Gorgeous!! I love all the sparkle and embellishments...just perfect. Also love how you used plaid pp for the scalloped circle...great idea!!
