I made these Thank You Cards today based on Allison's Suggestive Sunday "Case" Challenge. I decided to case a card from Taylor Van Bruggen, I admire her style a lot! I made a card using this same stamp set last summer and it was a total disaster! I own a few of Papertrey Ink Stamps but I rarely use them because I was intimidated by them. The stamps are beautiful but I lacked confidence and stopped using them for awhile. After practicing and getting a "feel" for them, I feel much better with my creation this time around. I have a few differences but the theme is on the same path as Ms. Van Bruggen's. Thank you for this challenge Allison, I had a lot of fun with this one. ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel better to hear that you were also intimidated by PTI stamps at first because that's how I felt. I couldn't get anything that I liked, even looking at a zillion samples. But, I just kept plugging away and finally started to like them more and more :-)
OMG... You know I love all of your cards Malieta but when I saw this one I was in lurve. Totally fab ladybird and cos red is my fave of all time colour I couldn't help but drool over that ribbon you used too :D Stunning !!
