My step-daughter is "crazy" for the color pink. Primarily everything is pink...clothes, underwear, socks, notebooks etc. So I had her in mind when I made this card. While pairing up various colors of pink, I didn't realize how difficult it is to make a card using just one color! I was rather pleased with the results but felt that something was missing. I was so tempted to run out to Michael's and purchase a heating gun and some embossing powder but I resisted the urge. The next time I make another card like this I will emboss the stamped image to make it stand out more. The card stock is Bazzill, printed paper by Making Memories, stamp by The Cats Pajamas,ink SU's Pretty in Pink, ribbon from Michael's,and the beads are from Walmart's. Instead of embossing, I used my Sakura Ink Pen and traced around the cat image and applied Martha Stewarts Crystal Fine glitter to dust the outer edges. I also wrote in "Princess and Pretty in Pink and applied glitter as well.
Love this tent topper card and the beads around the cat.

ReplyDeleteYou are such a sweet heart! I really need some crafting in my life right now. I woke up last night and ended up in my scrappy room, but I still didn't finish a card. I actually get a four day weekend! So...cross your fingers and say your prayers that I get something done! LOL!
